Read the school’s Coronavirus regulations here. By completing a booking/payment, you agree to comply with the regulations.
§1 – ENROLLMENT
Class enrollment is binding, and all payment and booking is made on our homepage. Registrations for all classes, workshops and private classes at Copenhagen Salsa Academy (hereafter referred to as “CSA”) is personal, and cannot be shared or taken over by others. It is your own responsibility to make sure that the information and Personal Data you provide us at the sign up is correct.
CSA reserves the right to cancel or change your enrollment if the class is fully booked, or if it is deemed that your dancing level isn’t matching the level of the class. This to ensure best possible learning experience for all students.
§ 2 – PAYMENT AND RECEIPTS
After your online enrollment, a receipt of the order is automatically sent to your specified e-mail address (if you don’t receive it, make sure to double-check the spam-inbox). The receipt is the confirmation of your sign up to the wished class/workshop, and no further action is required by the customer.
§3 – EXPIRATION DATES
Any subscription to group classes or workshops and purchase of gift cards is only valid for the period and dates specified at the moment of the online booking, and non-trasferrable. In case of questions, feel free to contact us.
§4 – REFUND POLICY AND CANCELLATIONS
CSA offers a 7 day refund period from the date of your purchase for cancellations and refunds (in any case, latest 24 hours before the course/workshop/event starts). After this time CSA does not refund the purchase price. If your 7 day refund period has expired and you for some reason cannot make the whole season, you can postpone your participation to the following season. (Note: the refund policy does not apply to CSA’s video courses sold online. CSA does not issue refunds for video courses once the payment is processed. See more at §10).
Its not possible to make up missed classes. If you believe you are eligible for special consideration, it is your responsibility to contact Copenhagen Salsa Academy. We will treat appeals on a case by case basis.
§5 – CHANGES IN THE TEACHING PLAN
CSA reserves the rights to:
• If necessary, move a class to a different day/time and place in case the teacher is sick or for other reasons beyond CSA’s control.
• Hire a substitute teacher in case of sickness, travel etc.
• Merge two classes of similar level with less than 10 participants in a class.
§6 – PRIVATE LESSONS
Time and place of private lessons is agreed upon in writing with your teacher. Private lessons can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before they are scheduled to be held. There are no make-up lessons and no refunds of payment after the 24 hour deadline. In case of absence the student will be charged the full amount.
§7 – RESPONSIBILITY
By attending class, you are certifying that you are in good health and are able to participate in our dance training. Any person who participates in activities or services provided by CSA shall do so at his or her own risk. CSA does not take responsibility for injuries or accidents occurring in class. CSA does not accept responsibility for items lost or stolen from the venue.
§8 – CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY
What data and Personal Information is CSA collecting? When you sign up for a dance class/workshop or sign up for our newsletter, we automatically collect your name, phone number and e-mail address. These data will not be shared with third-party sources.
Use of Personal Information – We may use the Personal Information we collect to create a profile (only when booking a membership), send you relevant advertising and information, make sure that your purchases are completed correctly, contact you in case of changes to the events you have signed up for, and improve our services and home page functionalities. You can withdraw your consent to our data usage at any time, though past billing data will remain stored in our archives. To cancel your data or withdraw your consent, contact CSA at the e-mail address info@copenhagensalsaacademy.dk.
How long is your data stored for? We store your Personal Information and data until you wish them to be changed, cancelled or want to withdraw your consent – or after 10 years from your last activity.
Changes – Our customer privacy policy can be subjected to changes, but is always accessible on our homepage. In case of changes to our customer privacy policy that affect you directly, you will be contacted by CSA.

§9 – USE OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS ONLINE
By participating in activities or services provided by CSA you are giving consent to CSA to take photographs and video film footage of you during class time for use in marketing and publicity material and to be published on the internet, social media and our website. All videos and photographs taken by CSA are copyrighted. All videos and photographs taken at CSA’s events and classes are for personal use only and not to be shared publicly online.
§10 – ONLINE VIDEO COURSES
The purchase of any online video course is non-refundable once the purchase is completed.
The customer has 1 month time from the purchase date to redeem the downloadable video files. After that, a new purchase will be necessary to get access to the download link again.
Unauthorized duplication, distribution or exhibition may result in civil liability. All video courses are for personal and non-commercial use only.
§11 – TEEN/KIDS CLASSES
- Tilmelding på vores Teen/Børnehold skal ske af en voksen over 18år. Du som voksen har ansvaret for det tilmeldte barn både inden, under og efter danseklassen.
- Det er den voksnes kontaktoplysninger der skal indtastes ved tilmelding og du som forælder/voksen har til enhver tid ansvar for at informere os om hvis kontaktoplysninger ændres i løbet af sæsonen.
- Eleverne er ikke dækket af forsikring hos Copenhagen Salsa Academy på kurset. Det er derfor forældres eget ansvar at have en ulykkesforsikring til deres barn.
- For Teen Hold: Af hensyn til dynamikken i gruppen, samt børnenes koncentration er forældre/voksne ikke med inde i salen under timen. Forældre/voksne er meget velkommen til at vente i vores ”lounge” mens eleverne danser.
- Ved timens ophør er det du som forældre/voksen der har ansvaret for eleven, hvad end det skal hentes eller selv gå hjem.
- Vi er rigtig glade for at i har tilmeldt jeres barn på vores danseskole og vi lover at gøre vores allerbedste for at dit barn får en god oplevelse hvor fællesskab, sjov og plads til forskellighed er i fokus. For at gøre ovenstående muligt har vores danselærer en baggrund inden for dans samt erfaring med den givende aldersgruppe. Det er vigtigt for os at både kvalitet og tryghed er i top.
CODE OF CONDUCT
CSA is committed to providing safe, exciting and educational classes for each of our students. We believe that ethics – moral principles, standard practices, and etiquette are important elements in the dance scene and should be part of every dancer’s education. In order to provide a safe and uplifting environment for everyone, we ask that teachers and students follow CSA’s code of conduct. It takes everyone’s help to create a positive learning experience.
