SALSA RUEDA DE CASINO | improver & intermediate
One thing that all salsa dancers would agree on is that Rueda de Casino is incredibly FUN! Rueda is danced in social parties across the world, with pairs of dancers forming a circle and executing the same moves called out by one person. Come and be part of it!
ATTEND THESE CLASSES, IF YOU:
✓ Want to learn more about Rueda and cuban salsa while having a lot of fun!
✓ Can already lead/follow basic combinations and turns in cuban Salsa (enchufla, setenta, vacilala, so on).
✓ Salsa dancing experience: 4 months or more (if you dance cuban salsa). You have completed a level 2 (improver) course, and/or dance regularly at social parties.
IN THESE CLASSES YOU WILL LEARN:
✧ Basic Rueda and cuban salsa calls and how to lead and follow them.
✧ Develop your quickness and muscle memory when dancing by responding to fast calls with uptempo music.
✧ How to be more aware of your surroundings and people dancing around you, both in the Rueda as well as on the social dance floor.
PRICE: 775 kr. (9 lessons, once per week).
WHEN: Mondays, 19.30-20.30, from August 12th to October 7th, 2019.

ATTEND THESE CLASSES, IF YOU:
✓ Want to get started with Salsa in line (L.A./Cross-body) and understand the differences from cuban Salsa.
✓ Can already lead/follow all basic combinations and turns in cuban Salsa, or are relatively new to L.A. style/Cross-body Salsa (improver level).
✓ Salsa dancing experience: 4/6 months or more (if you dance cuban salsa). You have completed or are attending a level 3 course, and dance regularly at social parties.

IN THESE CLASSES YOU WILL LEARN:
✧ Line style fundamental turns, connection and techniques in partnerwork.
✧ Differences between cross-body and cuban salsa: leading, following, turn patterns and positioning.
✧ Ladies’s and men’s footwork, shines, styling, and spin techniques.
PRICE: 700 kr. (8 lessons, once per week).
WHEN: Thursdays, 19.00-20.00, from March 7th to May 2nd, 2019. Note: no classes on April 18th.
